How to Disable Windows Update?

Step 1, Open Local Group Policy Editor. Press WIN+R key->input "gpedit.msc" ->Enter to open Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2, Click Local computer Policy->Administrator Templates->Windows Components, and double click Window Updated.

Step 3, Double click “Specify intranet Microsoft update service location” and select “Enabled” to enable Specify intranet Microsoft update service location.Set the server address of intranet update service for detecting updates, intranet statistics server and alemate download server to 1.1.1.1. Click Apply and OK to save the changes.

Step 4, Restart the PC immediately, otherwise it will not effective.
